Can notes be kept confidential from other staff?
Yes. Every note has a visibility tier — patient-visible, internal, or confidential. Confidential notes are visible only to the treating practitioner and the clinic owner, and never appear in the patient portal.
Do notes lock so they can't be changed?
Yes. When you sign a note it locks. You can still amend it, but Atlacare keeps the original and records the change as a new version rather than overwriting it, preserving the audit trail.
Is it suitable for a solo practitioner?
Yes. Clinical notes are included from the Free plan (one practitioner, 20 patients, no card), so you can document properly from day one.
Where are clinical notes stored?
