Switching from Pabau to Atlacare takes two steps: export a CSV from Pabau, then import it with Atlacare's wizard using its Pabau preset.
1. Export your patients from Pabau
In Pabau, export your patient (client) list to a CSV file and save it somewhere handy. If you want to bring more than the core details across, export those lists to CSV as well.
2. Import into Atlacare
In Atlacare, open Settings → Data → Import and choose Pabau as the source. The wizard uses a Pabau preset, so it recognises Pabau's column names and maps them to Atlacare's fields automatically. You can check and tweak the mapping before the import runs.
The import works through your list in batches with a progress indicator, so a big export won't fail partway. Atlacare never creates duplicates silently — anything that looks like an existing record is flagged for you to confirm.
3. Consent and practitioners
Patients imported from Pabau are recorded with offline consent — acknowledging that consent was captured in your previous system — so your UK GDPR consent trail carries over cleanly. The wizard also matches practitioner names from your Pabau export to the practitioners in your Atlacare account.
A note on plan limits
The Free plan holds up to 20 patients. If your Pabau list is larger, upgrade to a paid plan before importing so no records are dropped.
Imports are run by the Owner or a Manager. Need help? Use the Help button in the top bar to leave us a message.
