What changes by profession

Every practitioner in a practice can be set to a different profession. These are the defaults each one starts with; the note shell can be changed per practitioner.

Retention is set by the practice's country, not the profession: UK practices keep clinical records for 8 years from last treatment, and an erasure request cannot remove a record still inside that period.

How many professions does Atlacare support?

17, each with its own configuration. Every practitioner in a practice can be set to a different one, so a clinic with a physiotherapist and a counsellor does not have to choose.

What actually changes between professions?

The note shell (SOAP, DAP, BIRP or ADIME), the profession-specific fields in the note editor, and which clinical tools appear, such as the body chart and pain score. Retention follows the practice's country rather than the profession.

My profession is not on this list. Can I still use it?

Yes. All 17 professions are configured in the product whether or not they have a page here, and there is a free-text option for anything else. Tell us which you are and we will point you at the right setup.
