Frequently asked questions
Does Atlacare use SOAP notes?
Yes. Physiotherapy defaults to SOAP notes, with an anatomical body chart and a 0–10 pain score built into every note. If you prefer a different structure, note formats are configurable per practitioner, so a multidisciplinary clinic can run several formats side by side.
Which outcome measures are supported?
Atlacare scores common physiotherapy measures including PSFS, NPRS, NDI and LEFS, and trends them across a course of care. Scores can be shown to the patient in their portal so they can see their own progress between appointments.
Where is my patient data stored?
All data is stored in EU-region infrastructure and handled under UK and EU GDPR. Health data is treated as special-category data, with consent tracking, country-aware retention and full audit logging. You can export everything at any time.
Can I move my records from another system?
Yes. Atlacare imports patients from Cliniko, Jane, WriteUpp, Carepatron and Pabau, and matches your practitioners for you. Most clinics move across in an afternoon, and founding clinics get white-glove help with the switch.
How much will it cost?
There is a free plan for solo starters covering your first 20 patients, with no card required. Paid plans add unlimited patients, the patient portal, SMS reminders and reporting. Full pricing is published at launch.
