AboutLaunching 2026

Atlacare. The new name in practice management software.

Atlacare is patient management software for physiotherapists, osteopaths, podiatrists, dietitians, counsellors and everyone else in allied health.

Scheduling, clinical notes, invoicing, online booking, a patient portal and your own clinic website, all in one place that makes sense the first time you open it.

What Atlacare is

One platform that runs the whole practice.

Your diary, with online booking that fills it. Patient records where the history, body charts and outcome measures are already in the right place. Clinical notes shaped around your profession rather than a physio template with the words swapped out. Invoices that go out and get paid. A portal where patients book, pay, complete their forms and follow their exercise plan without ringing you. A clinic page on the web that looks like you paid a designer for it.

All of it stored in the EU, built to UK and EU GDPR, and yours to export whenever you want.

Built with clinicians

Built with the people who do the job.

We didn't build Atlacare alone. It was shaped from the start by conversations with practising physiotherapists and allied health professionals: the people who write six notes between patients, chase the no-show, and do the invoicing at nine at night. They told us what the day actually looks like. We built around that, then went back and asked whether we'd got it right.

17 professions, done properly

Each with its own note fields and tools. A psychologist gets DAP, a counsellor gets BIRP, a physio gets SOAP, and nobody builds a template before their first patient.

A real body chart

An anatomical front and back image with markers for pain, tenderness, numbness and referred symptoms, each with a severity. Clinicians draw, so we let you draw.

The unglamorous things

Recalls. Insurance authorisations that track sessions used against sessions authorised. Pre-paid packages. A conversation log for the call you'll need a record of in eight months.

Notes that forgive interruptions

Autosave every thirty seconds, a draft badge, and a warning before you lose anything. And safeguarding flags that behave the way a duty of care requires.

That list isn't a feature dump. It's what's left after a lot of conversations with people who were generous with their time.

Simple by default

Simple and easy to use from day one.

Powerful and complicated are not the same thing, and somewhere along the way the industry started treating them as if they were.

Atlacare is set up before you arrive. Note shells come pre-configured for your profession. Online booking works out of the box. The form library has sixteen ready-made intake, consent and screening forms you can send today and edit later. Sign-up runs through a seven-step wizard that takes minutes, and a checklist tells you what's left.

Then it stays quick. A global create menu and keyboard shortcuts from anywhere in the app. The calendar opens to day view on your phone, which is where you actually check it. Save bars stick to the bottom of the screen, and touch targets are sized for a thumb between patients.

Atlacare is built the way software gets built now: fast, mobile first, one clear idea per screen. GDPR isn't a compliance module we bolted on afterwards. Consent, retention, audit trails and EU data residency were in the first version of the database. Your clinic page, your patient portal and your booking flow were designed together, so they behave like one product rather than three acquisitions.

You won't need an implementation call or a week of evenings.

Switching is easy

Switching to Atlacare in minutes.

The reason people stay on software they've outgrown is rarely the software. It's the thought of moving. So we built the moving part properly, and it's live now.

The import wizard has purpose-built presets for Cliniko, Jane, WriteUpp, Carepatron and Pabau. Export your patients, drop the file in, and Atlacare recognises the columns for you.

  1. Source and upload - pick where you're coming from and drop in the export.
  2. Map and match - columns are recognised for you; "Dr S. Patel" and "Sarah Patel" end up as the same person.
  3. Preview and done - records process in batches with live progress, and GDPR consent is handled as they land.

Then there's the promise on the other side. Your data stays yours. Full CSV export whenever you want it, role gated and audit logged. There's no exit fee and no export ticket to raise. We'd rather earn next month than trap you into it.

Coming from somewhere specific? Our help centre has a step-by-step guide for each of the five platforms.

Your data, protected

Where your data lives, and who can see it.

Health data is special category data, and we treat it that way everywhere rather than just on the pricing page. Your data is stored in EU regions and it doesn't travel. GDPR is built into the system itself: consent tracking, country-aware retention across 16 countries, right to erasure, subject access requests, and an audit log of every significant action.

Access is properly scoped. Separate owner, manager, practitioner and receptionist roles, three levels of note visibility, and confidential notes that only the treating practitioner and the owner can open. You can turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app and backup codes.

Analytics never touch patient data. Clinic URLs contain patient identifiers, so Google Analytics is blocked from every clinical screen by design. It runs on our public pages only, and your patients' details never reach a third-party analytics tool.

On AI

Does Atlacare use AI?

Not yet.

Building AI features is actually fairly easy. Clinical note assistance means sending real consultation text to somebody else's servers and trusting what comes back. Before we put that in front of you, three things have to be true, and today they aren't.

1

We need to know exactly what happens to that text. Who keeps it, for how long, and what it can be used for. Vague answers aren't good enough when the words belong to your patient.

2

It has to process in Europe. We've built everything else on UK/EU data residency, and we're not making an exception for the one feature that would handle the most sensitive text in the record.

3

It has to be right. AI still gets things wrong, and confidently. In a clinical note a misheard dose or a symptom on the wrong side goes into someone's health record, with your name at the bottom. Usually-accurate isn't good enough when care depends on it.

When all three hold, we'll build it, and we'll tell you exactly what it sends and where it goes. Until then there's no AI in Atlacare, and no AI provider on our sub-processor list. We think that's the right way round.

The roadmap

What we're building next.

We're not finished, and we'd rather say so than pretend.

Video consultations

Soon

All built, just in final testing. Secure video for remote appointments, in the same diary.

Accounting sync

Soon

Xero, QuickBooks and Sage, so the books can look after themselves.

Custom domains

Soon

Serve your Atlacare clinic page from your own web address.

Profession content libraries

Soon

The charts, exercises and templates you reach for, already there for your discipline.

Beyond that there's the bigger plan: integrations with the tools you already pay for, partnerships with the bodies and suppliers that serve allied health, and member perks that make being on Atlacare worth something past the software itself.

Buongiorno. Guten Morgen. Bonjour.

Atlacare already speaks 25 languages and handles per-country currency, date formats and retention rules. The UK is live, and the rest of Europe is next.

The goal isn't another app. It's an ecosystem for allied health professionals, where the practice runs, the admin disappears, and the things around your practice get easier too. We'll build it in the open, and you'll watch it arrive.

Talk to us

Have a suggestion? We'll actually listen.

One advantage of being small and new: when you email us, you reach the people who build it. No ticket queue that closes itself, no "we'll add it to the backlog" from someone with no say in the backlog. If the intake form needs one more field, or your professional body requires a note format we don't have, or something takes three clicks when it should take one, tell us. We don't hear that as a complaint. It's the most useful thing you can send us.

hello@atlacare.com

Tell us what you need. We read every one.
