How does it prevent double-booking?
Availability comes from your live diary, and when a patient starts booking a slot it is locked for a short window (about 10 minutes) and hidden from everyone else. The lock clears automatically if they don't finish, so slots are never lost.
Can patients pay a deposit when they book?
Yes. You can require a deposit or full payment at booking for services that need it, which reduces no-shows. Card payment settles to your practice.
