What is therapy practice management software?
Therapy practice management software differs from clinical practice software in two ways that matter: the note format and the confidentiality model. Notes are DAP or BIRP rather than SOAP, because splitting a session into Subjective and Objective describes nothing.
And the confidentiality requirement is higher than almost anything else in healthcare, so what reaches a client cannot depend on someone remembering to hide a field. In Atlacare the client portal only ever retrieves notes marked client-visible.

Which professions is this for?
Counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists, each configured as a separate profession. All three default to DAP notes, and each practitioner can switch to BIRP.
Are my session notes used to train AI?
No. Atlacare has no AI feature and no AI provider on its sub-processor list. Nothing is sent to any AI API.
Can clients see their notes?
Only notes you mark client-visible. Internal and confidential notes never appear in the client portal.
