A package is a block of sessions a patient buys up front — "6 sessions for £300", "a course of 10". It's good for cash flow and commitment, and Atlacare tracks the balance so you always know where a patient stands.
Create a package
Define your packages once: a name, the number of sessions, the price, and optionally a validity period (e.g. use within 6 months). These become the packages you can sell to patients.
Sell one to a patient
Assign a package to a patient and it records how many sessions remain. As they attend, the balance counts down, so both you and the patient can see what's left — no arguments about "how many have I used?"
Why use packages
- Cash flow — you're paid up front rather than session by session.
- Commitment — a patient who's paid for a course is more likely to complete it, which is better for their outcome and your retention.
- Clarity — the remaining balance is on the record, not in someone's head.
Packages sit alongside ordinary invoices — use a package for pre-paid courses, and invoices for one-off or insurer-billed sessions.
