Messaging & inbox

Email and your reply-to address

Why some emails come from no-reply, how to set a reply-to address so patients can reply, and how sending works.

Atlacare sends email on your clinic's behalf — appointment confirmations, reminders, invoices, and replies to website enquiries. Two settings control how those emails look and where replies go.

Why emails come from "no-reply"

For deliverability, transactional emails are sent from a no-reply sending address. That's normal and expected — it keeps your reminders and confirmations out of spam. But on its own it means a patient who hits "reply" reaches nobody.

Set a reply-to address

To fix that, set a reply-to address under Settings → Branding. When it's set, anyone who replies to one of your emails reaches that inbox instead of the no-reply address. Use whatever address you actually read — often the same one you use for your clinic.

If you haven't set one, Atlacare falls back to your billing email. If neither is set, replies have nowhere to go, and you'll see a reminder in the inbox when you reply to a website enquiry.

Branding your emails

On Clinic and above, your logo and brand colour appear on the emails Atlacare sends, so they look like they came from your clinic rather than from us. Set these under Settings → Branding too.

What we never do

We never send patient health information to marketing tools, and we never use patient data to train AI. Transactional email carries only what's needed — a name, an appointment time, an invoice.
