Set a practitioner's colour
Each practitioner has their own colour. It shows on their appointments across the calendar — the shared team view, the day view, and the week view — so a busy diary stays legible.
Reading the calendar
- By person — each practitioner's blocks are their colour, so overlapping schedules are easy to untangle.
- By status — appointment states (booked, completed, cancelled, no-show) are also distinguished, so you can spot a no-show or an open slot quickly.
In a solo practice
If you're a single practitioner, colour-coding matters less day to day, but it still applies once you add a second practitioner or a locum — their appointments arrive in their own colour automatically.
Colour is a visual aid only — it never changes who can see or book an appointment; that's governed by roles and working hours.
