Everything to do with appointments starts on the calendar.
Book an appointment
Open the calendar and click an empty slot. Choose the patient (or add a new one on the spot), the service and the practitioner. The length comes from the service, so the slot sizes itself. Save, and the patient gets a confirmation email if you have one turned on.
On a phone the calendar opens to day view, which is where you'll usually book between patients.
Reschedule
Open the appointment and change its date, time, practitioner or service, then save. The patient's confirmation and reminders update to match — you don't need to resend anything by hand.
Cancel
Open the appointment and cancel it. A cancellation email goes out if you have that turned on. The slot frees up immediately so it can be booked again.
Record what happened
After the appointment, mark it as attended, a no-show, or cancelled from the appointment itself. This matters for more than tidiness: attendance feeds your Clinic Health score and your reports, and it's how no-show rates are tracked.
