You can attach documents to a patient's record — referral letters, imaging reports, signed consent forms, correspondence — so everything about their care lives in one place.
Upload a file
Open the patient's profile and add a file from the files section. Accepted types are PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX and (on higher tiers) MP4 for exercise videos. The maximum size is 50MB per file.
Files are stored in EU-region storage and served through short-lived signed links, never public URLs — so a document can't be reached by guessing an address.
Storage and your plan
Each plan includes a storage allowance (Solo 500MB, Clinic 10GB, Practice 50GB); the Free plan has no file uploads. Atlacare checks your remaining space before every upload and updates your usage as files are added or removed — you can see where you stand under Settings → Plan & Usage.
Deleting a file
Removing a file deletes it from storage and frees the space immediately. As with everything else, the action is recorded in your audit log.
Files are part of the clinical record, so the same retention and erasure rules apply to them as to the rest of the patient's data.
