AtlacareMost UK allied health regulators — the HCPC among them — require you to keep evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and can ask to see it. Atlacare gives you somewhere to record it as you go, rather than scrambling at audit time.
Record CPD
Go to Settings → CPD and add an activity: what you did, when, the type (course, reading, reflection, supervision), and how long it took. Add a reflection or a link to a certificate where you have one.
Why keep it here
- It's always with your practice — not in a spreadsheet you have to find.
- It builds up over time, so when your regulator selects you for audit, your record is already there.
- It's private to you — CPD is your professional record, separate from patient data.
What counts
Regulators generally accept a mix: formal courses, reading and research, reflective practice, mentoring and supervision, and learning from your own caseload. Keep a spread rather than only formal courses, and note what you took from each.
CPD requirements are set by your regulator, not by Atlacare — check your regulator's current standard for how much and what kind you need.
